Overlay

By building our own machines, Ferrofab can offer distinctive and specialized overlay services that meet the shifting demands of the market. Moreover, this provides us with a greater degree of control over the production process and has allowed us to position ourselves as one of the more experienced companies with clad projects in the region. 

 

Our overlay capabilities consist of:

ESSC Welding for large diameter pipes, flanges, and vessels. The key advantage of ESSC welding is the high deposition rate but with the limitation of only being able to work with larger diameters and surfaces.

GTAW Overlay welding covers in ESSC’s limitation by performing Overlay works to materials with smaller surfaces or vessels and pipes with a smaller diameter (a minimum diameter of 2 inches)

Ferrofab’s extensive experience with clad compositions, such as Alloy 625, Alloy 825, Monel, SS 304, SS 316, and SS 347, makes us the company of choice for all your cladded equipment needs.
